El Kit Codificador Rotativo Simple Cytron viene con un disco ranurado (8 ranuras) y una placa de sensor de interfaz simple. No se requiere más soldadura. El codificador rotatorio es un sensor o transductor utilizado para convertir los datos de movimiento rotatorio en una serie de impulsos eléctricos que puede leer el controlador. El disco ranurado tiene un diámetro exterior de 35mm con 8 ranuras que proporciona 16 transiciones. El sensor óptico se usa para detectar las 16 el ángulo de rotación del disco. Con estas transiciones, el controlador puede reconocer el ángulo de rotación del disco. Con este concepto, se puede emplear un codificador rotatorio en un eje del motor de CC para que el controlador "conozca" su posición actual.
Los módulos del codificador rotatorio se pueden usar para detectar la posición y la velocidad del motor. Se puede conectar a cualquier microcontrolador a través del cabezal de 3 pines. El sensor de haz óptico detecta las ranuras faltantes del disco ranurado y genera un tren de pulsos. Estos módulos requieren + 5V y GND para alimentarlos, y proporcionan una salida de 0V a 5V. Proporcionan una salida de + 5V cuando su haz está bloqueado, y una salida de 0V cuando su haz está desbloqueado. Su microcontrolador puede simplemente leer el tren de pulsos 0-5-0V para determinar qué tan lejos ha recorrido su motor y qué tan rápido.

As advertised - the resolution is limited being of simple 8 teeth design but considering the cost it is definitely a good entry level encoder.

Hard to fit wheel perfectly
No clearance between the encoder wheel and the optical reader slot that it has to fit in. Very difficult to set up .

Encoder Wheel too Thick
The device works well, but there is almost no clearance between the encoder wheel and the optical reader slot that it has to fit in. The wheel is unusable unless you have perfect alignment. Either the slot should be wider or the wheel should be thinner to allow for more clearance between the pieces.

Build-it-yourself Robot Parts are not refundable once assembled. Robots & Kits requiring assembly or soldering are also not refundable once assembled, soldered or modified in any way. All sales of robotic software and apps are final and cannot be refunded or exchanged. Returns are not accepted on special orders and clearance items except when they are found defective, in which case the Product may be repaired or replaced at the Vendor’s discretion. 20% Restocking fees may apply if you are returning a large quantity of the same Product that was ordered specifically for you from the manufacturer.
Please note that all items will be reimbursed within 7 to 14 days of receiving the Product (shipping fees excluded). You must also cover the cost of returning the Product. Shipping fees will only be refunded if the return is a result of a shipping error on our part. Cleaning fees of USD 100 may also be charged if a domestic robot is returned and has not been properly cleaned.
