El Controlador de Motor Regenerativo Doble Sabertooth 60A 6V - 30V es uno de los controladores de motor doble más versátiles, eficientes y fáciles de usar. Es adecuado para robots de alta potencia: hasta 120 libras en combate o hasta 1000 libras para robótica de uso general. Inmediatamente al salir de caja, Sabertooth puede alimentar a dos motores DC Brushed de hasta 60 A cada uno. Las corrientes máximas de 120A por canal se pueden lograr durante unos segundos. La protección contra sobrecorriente y térmica significa que nunca tendrá que preocuparse por quemar el controlador con paradas accidentales o por conectar un motor demasiado grande.
Le permite controlar dos motores con: voltaje analógico, control de radio, serial y serial empaquetada. Sabertooth es el primer controlador de motor regenerativo síncrono en su clase. La topología regenerativa significa que sus baterías se recargan cada vez que ordena a su robot que reduzca la velocidad o que vaya en retroceso. Sabertooth también te permite hacer paradas y retrocesos muy rápidos, dando a tu robot una ventaja en rapidez y agilidad.
Sabertooth tiene incorporado un BEC de Modo de Conmutacion de5V 1A que puede proporcionar energía a su receptor o microcontrolador, así como 3 - 4 servos analógicos estándar. I used the Sabertooth 2x32 first and that spoiled me as far as ease of programming. I'm not fond of having to use the USB to TTL interface. I also miss the aux inputs. Those for my application are very handy. I do wish all the sabertooth drives had separate and accessible accel and decel settings.

Well build, heavy duty product. The specs are good, and fill a niche others cannot supply on a similar level. Process of purchase through to delivery is seamless, and trouble free.

Dangerous and Unsafe
Worked great for about 2 seconds and all of a sudden, one motor stops and the other goes full speed. RC control was completely lost and the only way to stop the thing was to unplug the battery. The Sabertooth went back to Dimension Engineering where they determined the firmware was corrupted. I don't know if the firmware was corrupted from new or if something happened in the first 2 seconds of use. Either way, the fact that the firmware was so easily corrupted is disconcerting. The fact that corrupted firmware will cause the unit to uncontrollably run away at full speed is even more disconcerting. This problem is compounded by the lack of any input for an on/off switch. The ONLY way to stop the unit is to completely disconnect the primary power supply. This behavior may be OK for a small plastic toy, but is completely unacceptable when you are moving a few hundred pounds of steal. I would NEVER trust this Sabertooth for use anywhere around children.

Build-it-yourself Robot Parts are not refundable once assembled. Robots & Kits requiring assembly or soldering are also not refundable once assembled, soldered or modified in any way. All sales of robotic software and apps are final and cannot be refunded or exchanged. Returns are not accepted on special orders and clearance items except when they are found defective, in which case the Product may be repaired or replaced at the Vendor’s discretion. 20% Restocking fees may apply if you are returning a large quantity of the same Product that was ordered specifically for you from the manufacturer.
Please note that all items will be reimbursed within 7 to 14 days of receiving the Product (shipping fees excluded). You must also cover the cost of returning the Product. Shipping fees will only be refunded if the return is a result of a shipping error on our part. Cleaning fees of USD 100 may also be charged if a domestic robot is returned and has not been properly cleaned.
