Excellent product

We bought this item to control two stepper motors using an arduino. It works well and it's been five months, we are still using it. It also fits well on our Arduino microcontroller board and provides all input/output features. My students took a while to figure out pins and features but I was extremely happy when my students find out on their own based on theoretical background and hands on approach.

unhelpful documentation, no max current pot

I am completely unsatisfied with this product and hope nobody else makes the mistake of purchasing it. Before considering this product take a look at the quality of the documentation. The only example code is a short arduino script that doesn't even explain where the two enbl pins are (I still don't know which pins are being used for enbl!) The schematics are illegible and the 'datasheet' is just the datasheet for the driver IC used in the chip. There is no way of setting the limit current so on the off chance that I do get it to turn a motor the current setting is incorrect so it doesn't work properly. Please save yourself the trouble and buy something else. I have spent two months trying to decipher how this product works. I want my time back.
