Very good image quality

Quickly tried this against the OEM V2.1 camera and immediately saw a huge improvement in image sharpness. About the same brightness and colouring as the V2.1 camera. For specific applications this camera would be very worthwhile - looking forward to playing with it more!

Great module for using Pi camera with CS lenses

Purchased a few of these now - makes it easy to use the imx219 with CS lenses and ensure the sensor is in the right place with regards to the lens Docking a star as one module arrived with the ribbon connector ripped off (assuming it got damaged in transit)

Arducam keeps getting better

With the CS lens mount this is a masterful product - lenses will promote themselves to becoming your biggest problem if you're doing varifocal work

Clear Picture / Nice Focus

I purchased 2 of these units, and for some reason could not get them to work. We are using the RPi 3B+ and powering it over POE (using the OEM POE adapter). We found that by removing the POE adapter and powering by standard wall-wart, all worked well. Contacted RPI people, and got the latest update to Raspbian, and all is working well with POE module. Len works well, clear picture, nice focus ring. We would like to find a lens similar to this that has zoom as well. Will purchase these again. Really like that the lens is already attached to the camera module and do not need to goof around with it. Note: this camera module does not have the same footprint of the original Pi Camera module. No big deal, just be aware if you are designing this module into your project.
