The SYD Dynamics TransducerM 9-Axis AHRS / IMU w/ Dual-Port Communication (TM171) is an Attitude and Heading Reference System that delivers exceptional performance in roll, pitch, and yaw measurements, along with remarkable yaw stability. This system is specifically designed to deliver maximum performance with cost efficiency and includes a calibrated Inertial Measurement Unit composed of a triad of accelerometers, gyroscopes, and magnetometers. It facilitates both Serial and USB communication and is equipped with a C/C++ communication library accompanied by example code to assist in custom parsing code development. Additionally, it features a configuration GUI for various setting adjustments and data logging, and factory calibration by 22.5 ℃ to enhance accuracy.

The TransducerM TM151/TM171 are tailored to deliver a higher cost-performance ratio for consumer-grade and entry-level industrial applications. They are calibrated to ensure reliable gyroscope and accelerometer readings. The devices support various communication methods, including Type-C direct connection and serial communication. The communication baseboard is designed with stamp holes to simplify soldering and integration into system circuit boards.

The TM171 features enhanced dynamic measurement performance with advanced dynamic attitude tracking capabilities. It is engineered with features such as low yaw drifting, dynamic error reduction, and the ability to zero yaw drifting either through static start-up or manual intervention via the API. Enhanced ESD protection on communication ports, an adjustable UART baud rate, and efficient energy consumption further characterize this device.

With a fine resolution and dynamic accuracy, the TM171 is adept at precise measurements. Its compact dimensions ensure it is versatile for various applications while maintaining compatibility with similar models in terms of mechanical dimensions. The device offers high output rates through its dual communication ports, which include a UART and a Type-C USB connection.

The TransducerM TM171 is adept for a wide array of applications such as robotics, mobile robots, Autonomous Guided Vehicles, autonomous driving, vehicle monitoring, platform stabilization, model planes, and tracking systems.

Please note that the device should be handled with care to avoid damage to sensitive components.
