The Pololu LPS22DF Digital Barometer Sensor w/ Voltage Regulator is designed to measure atmospheric pressures ranging from 260 mbar to 1260 mbar with a high degree of accuracy, achieving absolute accuracy down to ±0.5 mbar. It is capable of converting pressure measurements to altitudes, making it suitable for a variety of applications. The sensor is equipped with both I²C/I3C and SPI interfaces for communication.
This compact carrier board for the ST LPS22DF MEMS absolute pressure sensor is designed to facilitate the use of the sensor for students and hobbyists. It includes a 3 V linear regulator and level shifters to accommodate a wide input voltage range, ensuring compatibility with various microcontroller voltages. The board comes fully populated with surface-mounted components, including the LPS22DF sensor itself.
The LPS22DF sensor is notable for its embedded temperature compensation and a host of configurable options. These options include selectable averaging, multiple output data rates, FIFO operating modes, and a programmable external interrupt signal. The sensor's pressure output is characterized by low RMS noise and high accuracy, and it supports data output for both pressure and temperature, which can be utilized for altimetry purposes.
In comparison to its predecessor, the LPS22DF offers enhanced accuracy, reduced noise, and a higher maximum output rate. The flexibility in configuring averaging allows for optimization between power consumption and noise reduction. Although pin-compatible with previous pressure sensor carriers, the LPS22DF has different configuration registers, necessitating code adjustments for compatibility.
The carrier board's low-dropout linear voltage regulator ensures the sensor is adequately powered, and the integrated level-shifting circuit simplifies interfacing with different logic voltage levels. The board's design, with standard 0.1" pin spacing, is intended to be user-friendly, allowing for easy integration into standard solderless breadboards and perfboards.
Please note that it is recommended to thoroughly review the LPS22DF datasheet before using this product. The sensor operates at voltages below 3.6 V, which may require special consideration when interfacing with microcontrollers operating at higher voltages.

The board includes one mounting hole compatible with #2 and M2 screws (screws not included). You have the option to solder the header strip of your choice to the board for use with custom cables or solderless breadboards, or you can solder wires directly to the board for more compact installations.

The Product must then be returned in its original packaging (in perfect condition for resale) with its receipt and your (‘’RA’’) number. Reimbursement will be denied for any Products which do not conform to the above mentioned conditions.
Build-it-yourself Robot Parts are not refundable once assembled. Robots & Kits requiring assembly or soldering are also not refundable once assembled, soldered or modified in any way. All sales of robotic software and apps are final and cannot be refunded or exchanged. Returns are not accepted on special orders and clearance items except when they are found defective, in which case the Product may be repaired or replaced at the Vendor’s discretion. 20% Restocking fees may apply if you are returning a large quantity of the same Product that was ordered specifically for you from the manufacturer.
Please note that all items will be reimbursed within 7 to 14 days of receiving the Product (shipping fees excluded). You must also cover the cost of returning the Product. Shipping fees will only be refunded if the return is a result of a shipping error on our part. Cleaning fees of USD 100 may also be charged if a domestic robot is returned and has not been properly cleaned.
