The Pololu 6V Step-up/Step-Down Voltage Regulator S8V9F6 is an efficient switching regulator designed to convert varying input voltages into a stable 6V output. It accommodates input voltages ranging from 1.4 V to 16 V, making it ideal for battery-powered applications where the battery voltage may fluctuate.

This regulator features under-voltage lockout, over-current protection, and a thermal shutdown to prevent overheating. It also includes a soft-start feature to limit inrush current and ensure a smooth startup.
