The Pololu 1.8V, 500mA Step-Down Voltage Regulator D24V5F1 is a compact and efficient DC-to-DC converter designed to reduce input voltages up to 36 V to a stable 1.8 V output. This switching regulator is part of the D24V5Fx family, known for its high efficiency ranging from 80% to 93%, making it ideal for battery-powered, low-power applications. It features a power-save mode for light loads and a low quiescent current draw. The regulator includes short-circuit and over-current protection, as well as thermal shutdown to prevent overheating.
