The Petoi Basic Sensor Pack for Robotics, IoT & AI is a comprehensive set of modules designed to enhance the interactive capabilities of the quadruped robot dog, Bittle. The set includes a light sensor, a touch sensor, a gesture sensor, a PIR motion sensor, and an infrared distance sensor.
The light sensor measures brightness, enabling Bittle to follow a light source. This sensor utilizes two analog input pins in the Grove connector.
The pack also features a touch sensor, which functions as a simple keyboard with two touch pads. This sensor uses two digital input pins in the Grove connector. Additionally, the gesture sensor in the pack allows Bittle to recognize basic gestures such as top, down, left, and right, enabling the robot to perform tricks. This sensor employs the Grove connector 12C pins (SCL/SDA).
The PIR motion sensor in the pack enables Bittle to detect the movement of warm objects, such as a human hand, thereby equipping the robot with the ability to guard a room. This sensor uses one digital input pin of the Grove connector. Lastly, the infrared distance sensor in the pack allows Bittle to detect the distances to obstacles in front of it on both sides. This sensor utilizes two analog input pins in the Grove connector.
These sensors are integral to the development of robotics solutions for IoT and AI applications with legged robots. They are compatible with Arduino and Raspberry Pi and their respective robotics kits. Demo codes for these sensor modules can be found in the ModuleTests folder of Petoi's GitHub repository. Detailed instructions and demo codes are also available in the documentation center.
If you are not satisfied for whatever reason with a Product you bought on the Site, it is possible to return it for refund within 30 days from the date you received it unless otherwise indicated in the Product listing. The Product must then be returned in its original packaging (in perfect condition for resale) with its receipt and your (‘’RA’’) number. Reimbursement will be denied for any Products which do not conform to the above mentioned conditions.
Build-it-yourself Robot Parts are not refundable once assembled. Robots & Kits requiring assembly or soldering are also not refundable once assembled, soldered or modified in any way. All sales of robotic software and apps are final and cannot be refunded or exchanged. Returns are not accepted on special orders and clearance items except when they are found defective, in which case the Product may be repaired or replaced at the Vendor’s discretion. 20% Restocking fees may apply if you are returning a large quantity of the same Product that was ordered specifically for you from the manufacturer.
