Storytelling Meets Coding
TTS Loti-Bot fairy tale mat blends the magic of classic fairytales with the fundamentals of programming, creating an engaging introduction to coding for early learners. Designed specifically for use with Loti-Bot, this interactive mat transforms each grid square into a storytelling destination, helping children connect narrative adventures with logical sequencing and directional commands.
Curriculum-Focused Learning
This floor mat supports the UK Computing curriculum for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 by encouraging children to create, write, and debug programs that achieve specific goals. By navigating Loti-Bot across character-themed grids, learners practice decomposition, sequencing, and problem-solving. This activity play mat also links to Geography objectives by reinforcing compass directions and positional language, helping children describe routes and locations with confidence.
Vocabulary & Cognitive Development
This engaging floor play mat strengthens both computational thinking and language development through storytelling-based challenges. As children guide Loti-Bot through familiar fairytale scenes, they expand vocabulary, improve logical reasoning, and develop map-reading awareness. The visual character cues of this educational play mat provide clear guidance for new programmers, making coding accessible, interactive, and enjoyable.
Our Loti-Bot fairy tale mat delivers a cross-curricular STEM resource that combines creativity, literacy, geography, and programming into one immersive classroom experience.
