Fermion: MEMS Methane CH4 Gas Detection Sensor (Breakout)
Utilizes advanced MEMS technology for compact design
Offers low power consumption and minimal heat generation
Capable of detecting CH4 and C3H8 within 1-10000 ppm range
Provides rapid response recovery and high-sensitivity
Operates effectively in temperatures from -10 to 50 ℃
The Fermion: MEMS Methane CH4 Gas Detection Sensor (Breakout, 1-10000ppm) utilizes cutting-edge micro-electromechanical system (MEMS) technology. This technology endows the sensor with compact dimensions, low power consumption, minimal heat generation, a brief preheating period, and a rapid response recovery. The sensor is designed to qualitatively measure methane gas concentration, making it suitable for devices monitoring combustible gas leakage, gas leak detectors, and fire/safety detection systems, among other applications.
The MEMS series includes 11 different types of gas sensors, which can be combined according to specific needs. However, this particular sensor is designed for qualitative measurements only. For quantitative measurements, the Gravity: Factory Calibrated Electrochemical Gas Sensor Series is recommended.
The sensor's compact size and low power consumption, coupled with its high sensitivity and rapid response recovery, make it ideal for various applications. These include environmental monitoring, indoor air quality assessment, industrial safety, fire detection, and health-related applications.
The sensor is capable of detecting gases such as CH4 and C3H8 within a detection range of 1-10000 ppm. It operates at a voltage of 3-5V and a current of less than 20mA. The sensor provides an analog voltage output signal and has a sensitivity ratio of R0 (in air) to Rs (in 5000ppm CH4) of 2 or greater. It can operate in temperatures ranging from -10 to 50 ℃ and humidity levels of 15-90%RH (non-condensing). The sensor has a lifespan of 5 years or more when used in air and measures 13 x 2.5 mm.
Please note that the sensor is designed for qualitative measurements only. For quantitative measurements, consider using the Gravity: Factory Calibrated Electrochemical Gas Sensor Series.
If you are not satisfied for whatever reason with a Product you bought on the Site, it is possible to return it for refund within 30 days from the date you received it unless otherwise indicated in the Product listing. You must first advise the Vendor associated with your order in your account to obtain a return authorization (‘’RA’’) number before returning a Product. (‘’RA’’) numbers are valid for 30 days, within which time the returned Products should be received by the Vendor. No returns will be accepted without having previously obtained an (‘’RA’’) number. The Product must then be returned in its original packaging (in perfect condition for resale) with its receipt and your (‘’RA’’) number. Reimbursement will be denied for any Products which do not conform to the above mentioned conditions.
Build-it-yourself Robot Parts are not refundable once assembled. Robots & Kits requiring assembly or soldering are also not refundable once assembled, soldered or modified in any way. All sales of robotic software and apps are final and cannot be refunded or exchanged. Returns are not accepted on special orders and clearance items except when they are found defective, in which case the Product may be repaired or replaced at the Vendor’s discretion. 20% Restocking fees may apply if you are returning a large quantity of the same Product that was ordered specifically for you from the manufacturer.
Please note that all items will be reimbursed within 7 to 14 days of receiving the Product (shipping fees excluded). You must also cover the cost of returning the Product. Shipping fees will only be refunded if the return is a result of a shipping error on our part. Cleaning fees of USD 100 may also be charged if a domestic robot is returned and has not been properly cleaned.
