The BlueRobotics MarineSitu C3 Stereo Camera is an advanced underwater imaging device designed for marine robotics and research applications. It features a sophisticated stereo vision system that captures both depth information and high-resolution color imagery. The camera is equipped with a pair of stereo cameras to accurately perceive depth, complemented by a central color camera that delivers high-resolution images. This setup is encased in a robust housing capable of withstanding depths of up to 1000 meters, making it suitable for deep-sea exploration and research tasks.
The camera's design incorporates a Luxonis Oak-D W PoE model, ensuring reliable performance in demanding underwater environments. The central camera utilizes an IMX378 sensor, while the stereo pair employs OV9282 sensors, providing a comprehensive imaging solution. The color camera offers a resolution of 12 megapixels, while the stereo pair cameras deliver 1 megapixel each, ensuring detailed and precise image capture.
The MarineSitu C3 is engineered to operate efficiently with a maximum frame rate of 60 frames per second for the color camera and 120 frames per second for the stereo cameras, under optimal bandwidth conditions.
