Very good kit for beginners

Small kit perfectly balanced to start with Arduino. In addition, Robotshop offers the best price among the official distributors in Canada. I would still recommend buying better threads and a bigger board

Comprehensive starter kit

This is a well organized kit with good guidance through-out the 15 projects listed in the book. You learn the programming language while writing the code provided for each project, however a section with the syntax of the various elements of the programming language is missing. Some parts in the kit are not used in the projects, so it is up to you to figure out how to use them.

Great learning tool to microprocessors

Delivered on time and with good packaging. Product very well designed to guide an easy learning process. Can be enjoyed by beginners as well as by people who already have good knowledge.

Great Kit for any Beginner

It is a complete starter kit for beginners to Electric Circuits and Programmable Micro-controllers. The Arduino on its own will prove useful for any small project, from simple flashing lights to controlling large automated robots (as in my experience). The booklet provide several projects to get you learning, but can also prove very useful as a quick reference or for code sample for your own projects. The components provided are enough to build much more complex circuits and devices than the book describes. For those who want to start learning transistor logic, signal amplification or just see what active components do this kit is great. It does lack some of the common electronic components such as an Op-Amp or a 555 timer; though most clock requirements can be easily programmed into the Arduino. This starter kit may appear to be geared for High School students, but it is the popular choice for many of the Second and Third year engineering students, including myself, to build control systems for our projects. ...and it does not require very much knowledge before you start.
