Description

  • Actuonix Linear Actuator Control Board
  • Designed for Actuonix actuators
  • Controls one linear actuator
  • Supported input signals include USB, Voltage, Current, RC Servo, and PWM
  • Onboard adjustment of speed, sensitivity, and stroke limits

The Actuonix Linear Actuator Control Board is a stand-alone closed-loop control board specifically designed for Actuonix actuators. The LAC greatly simplifies designs by saving the development time, cost, and processor overhead associated with direct motor control. As little as one digital or analog output is required for position control.

The LAC can be operated as both an interface board, or as a stand-alone controller with the addition of an external potentiometer and power supply. Each LAC Board controls one linear actuator and will require an external power supply rated for the actuator. The LAC will work with the L12-P, PQ12-P and L16-P. It may also be able to drive other larger actuators that have position feedback.

Great controller for P-series Actuonix actuators...

This is a must-purchase if you are planning to use a P-series Actuonix linear actuator (P16, L16-P, and L12-P) . It makes assembly and use much easer. The P-series actuators include a Potentiometer but do NOT have a built-in controller, and thus this component is desired/needed. Note: There are voltage power, speed, wiring, controller, and force, differences between the various Actuonix actuators. If you are not sure which one to purchase, then suggest printing out their spec sheets and carefully comparing them. My application called for the Actuonix P16 actuator with the 22:1 gear ratio that offers their fastest speed option with their longest stroke available, and runs on 1-15VDC. I plugged that actuator into the LAC board, and connected the LAC into a Pololu Mini Maestro 24, and was able to quickly prototype a simple solution using the Maestro software.
