The SeeedStudio mmWave Human Detection Sensor Kit w/ XIAO ESP32C3 is a highly versatile and precise human detection system. It is powered by the XIAO ESP32C3, which supports both Wi-Fi and BLE wireless connectivity and is equipped with a highly integrated ESP32-C3 chip that has 400 KB SRAM & 4 MB Flash. This allows for more programming space, thus expanding the possibilities for IoT control scenarios.

The kit is designed to offer precise human detection through mmWave sensors. It enables a seamless connection of Grove modules, which can enhance the kit's features. The kit also supports easy setup for Home Assistant, providing a user-friendly experience. Furthermore, it offers the convenience of wireless Over-The-Air (OTA) updates, eliminating the need for physical connections.

The onboard mmWave sensor operates on the FMCW principle, ensuring accurate and privacy-focused human detection. This sensor can be replaced with other sensors from Seeed's mmWave series, allowing for additional functionalities such as heartbeat detection and fall detection. The kit also supports the connection of over 400 optional Grove sensors, further expanding its capabilities.

The kit includes an onboard 24 GHz mmWave Human Static Presence Module Lite. This high-sensitivity radar sensor detects human presence, motion, direction, object speed, and distance. It allows for customizable parameters, enabling users to adjust range, sensitivity, thresholds, and more. It also offers open functions for environment noise and detection ranges, allowing for custom object movement detection radar setups for diverse scenarios.

The kit also features two reserved Grove interfaces (Analog, IIC) and a placement sized for 2x2 or 2x4 cm Grove modules. This allows users to connect a wide range of optional Grove sensors for added functionalities, such as indoor air quality detection with a Multichannel Gas Sensor.
