The Luxonis OAK-D-Lite Camera (Fixed Focus) features 300,000-point stereo depth, an integrated 12.3 MP camera capable of 4k video (with onboard encoding), and 1.4 TOPS of neural inference (AI) processing for real-time object detection and semantic segmentation.
OAK-D Lite has three onboard cameras which implement stereo and RGB vision, piped directly into the DepthAI Myriad X VPU for depth and AI processing. The data is then output to a host via USB 3.1 Gen1.
OAK-D Lite is an entry-level small form factor device, but capable of running all the same pipelines and models just like any other Luxonis OAK-D product as it is based on the same core processing unit Myriad X.
Fixed-Focus has the lens fixed in place mechanically and cannot move, whereas Auto-Focus has an electromagnet that controls the lens position dynamically. Fixed-Focus is recommended for heavy-vibration applications (e.g., drones, lawnmowers, bikes without suspension, etc.)
