The Luxonis Rae Robot is a pioneering fully-developed device from Luxonis. This open-source module is imbued with multiple capabilities. It is equipped with standard features such as ROS 2, SLAM, RVC3, and DepthAI, among others, right from the onset.

The Rae can be utilized in conjunction with Unity for simulation and Machine Learning applications. Furthermore, it can be linked to a novel cloud-based platform, RobotHub, which serves as a hub for development and community collaboration.

The core of what makes RAE so powerful is robotic vision, provided by two OV9782 stereo sensors and an IMX214 4K sensor in the front, and an additional two OV9782 stereo sensors in the back. The functionality shown here is all on-device standard and packs the punch that lets you learn, play, experiment, and create.
